Our Story

Like so many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. After matching online, we decided to skip the texting and meet for coffee instead.

Our first date was great but it was our second date that really changed everything. He suggested a hockey game, and Claire quickly discovered that Trevor had a gift for making her laugh until her sides hurt. Whether he was providing hilarious commentary on the players or making witty observations about everything around us, Claire found herself completely charmed by his sense of humor. By the time the final buzzer sounded, she knew she was falling for this funny, wonderful man.

By the third date, Claire was already smitten, but Trevor wasn’t done impressing her. He planned an elaborate picnic complete with a two-person picnic chair, NA beers with matching koozies, and a full homemade meal. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail showed Claire that his humor was matched by genuine care and effort. It was clear this wasn’t just someone who could make her laugh—this was someone who wanted to make her happy.
From that perfectly planned picnic to today, we’ve learned that the best relationships combine laughter with love, spontaneity with thoughtfulness. Who knew that saying “yes” to coffee with a stranger would lead to saying “yes” to forever?
